Helping Whirlpool reap the gold wind. Iconic appliance manufacturer Whirlpool commissioned the three turbines at this Findlay, Ohio, wind campus. The result supplies power directly to the appliance manufacturer. The installation saves Whirlpool substantial electricity costs, and leftover power is sold to the grid.
For this fascinating, momentum-building aerial video production chronicling the installation of a turbine, we used the DJI Inspire 1 all-in-one flying platform. Richter Studios was one of the first aerial cinematography companies in the Midwest to receive a Section 333 exemption from the Federal Aviation Administration, which allows the operation of drones for commercial purposes. We fly only with FAA-certified drone pilots — and get results that blow our clients away.
