For nursing newbies. One of the many nursing training videos Richter Studios has produced for the NCSBN, this overview of nursing regulatory bodies is aimed at new nurses just entering the profession.
The video is relatively long and imparts a significant amount of information. To vary pacing and hold the viewer’s attention, we combined several elements we commonly use in our corporate video services: an onscreen narrator, interviews with established nurses, B-roll, and onscreen text to outline the role of several elements of nursing regulation: licensure, state or other jurisdictional boards of nursing, and relevant nurse practice acts. The finished production leaves new nurses with a healthy understanding of how they can maintain professionalism and integrity throughout their careers.
